Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2025

The Islamic Center of Wilmington (ICWH) is committed to serving our community with integrity and clarity. This refund policy explains how we handle payments, donations, and event fees submitted through our website (icwh.org) or in-person.

1. Membership Payments
  • Monthly and annual membership payments represent a commitment to support the Masjid's ongoing services.

  • Membership payments are non-refundable, unless a duplicate or mistaken charge has occurred.

2. Donations
  • All donations are final and non-refundable.

  • Refunds may be issued if:

    • The donation was made in error

    • A duplicate payment was processed

    • The wrong amount was entered

  • Requests must be made within 7 days of the transaction.

3. Events or Programs
  • Refunds are available if the event is canceled or if you cancel at least 72 hours in advance.

  • No refunds for no-shows or late cancellations.

4. Disputes

If a disagreement arises over payment or refunds, the matter will be handled first by the ICWH board. If needed, it will be referred to Dar al-Qudah Islamic Arbitration Panel at getyourhaq.com for resolution based on Islamic principles.
